Creating an Atmosphere of Hope and Encouragement

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE

Provides a safe and well-supervised environment for the youth of the community to come on a Friday night to enjoy their friends and meet new friends, recreational activities, and food. Various speakers from an array of organizations share information with participants that aid in dealing with peer pressure, academics, making the right choices, life goals, and more.

HANDS OF HOPE

Addresses basic needs of individuals and families by providing food, hygienic items, and cleaning supplies as available. Assist with rent, and utilities. The goal is to assist community residences by providing individuals and families with the items needed to supplement their household.

FOOD PANTRY

The Food Pantry is open every 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9 am until 11 am. Open to all residents of Volusia County.

Educational Enrichment Entrepreneurship

This summer enhancement program was established to remediate student achievement. Certified teacher volunteers donate time to provide academic support in all content areas to ensure student achievement gains and support struggling learners and their parents by providing a variety of strategies for use within the learning environment.

THE DANCE PROJECT

An artistic outlet for youth aged 5-18. This week-long summer camp equips youth with discipline skills, collaboration essentials, and self-confidence through the art of dance, drama, vocal music,  spoken word, and more. Boys and girls who participate in the program are mentored and encouraged to identify and use their individual gifts and talents to excel in their endeavors and to become the change they desire to see in the world around them.

New Hope Human Services (NHHS) is a non-profit, charitable, mission-driven organization established in 1998 Serving West Volusia County.

To provide innovative support through an array of services and programs for children, adults and families.

We are committed to equipping individuals with the resources and tools needed to transition them from a place of despair to one of hope and encouragement.

Our programs and efforts aim to improve the quality of life for individuals mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially, while addressing basic needs. Promoting holistic life to encourage and empower Individuals.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteering gives you the opportunity to practice and develop your social skills, since you are meeting regularly with a group of people with common interests. Once you have momentum, it’s easier to branch out and make more friends and contacts.
